Realme Narzo 60x lands with a 50MP main camera, Android 13 and 5G for well under US$200
Realme's latest addition to its Narzo series of smartphones is touted to help the user reach the "Next 5G Speed Frontier" with a cost-effective Dimensity 6100+ SoC. It drives a 6.72-inch display that, while FHD+ and 120Hz, is LCD rather than OLED and could be brighter with a rated peak of 680 nits.
The 60x still has a round rear camera hump, although it ditches the central orientation and minimal 64MP main shooter resolution of the vanilla and Pro model for a new coin-like corner-mounted module with a 50MP "AI" main camera to go with the 2MP depth sensor that Realme just can't seem to get rid of in this segment.
Accordingly, this means that, as the 60 and 60 Pro are approximate 11 Pro-series rebrands, the 60x is essentially a Realme 11x - albeit one with a new InterstellarX esthetic finished in eye-catching Stellar Green or Nebula Purple finishes.
The smartphone also boasts up-to-date Realme UI 4.0 software, although its fairly generous 5,000mAh battery won't break any barriers with 33W charging speeds. Then again, that helps put the Narzo 60x' starting price at INR 12,999 (~US$156, whereas the 11x goes for at least INR 15,150 (~US$182) with 6GB of RAM right now) from its September 12, 2023 release date via Amazon.in.
