Motorola Moto G54: New mid-range smartphone starts in India with three launch colours
Motorola has released the Moto G54 in India, a day after the device's Chinese release. According to @yabhishekhd, Motorola has decided against bringing the Moto G54's Viva Magenta colour option to India for now. Instead, Mint Green, Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue will serve as launch colours, with Viva Magenta arriving at an unspecified later date.
To recap, the Moto G54 has a 6.5-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. Additionally, the handset has a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 flash storage. Moreover, Motorola has included a 50 MP primary camera that supports OIS, a large battery and IP52 certification against dust and water. Unfortunately, Motorola has only committed to delivering a single major software update to its new mid-range smartphone, which would leave it on Android 14.
Motorola will begin selling the Moto G54 in India on September 13. However, the company has already confirmed that the handset will retail for INR 15,999 (~US$192) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Alternatively, the Moto G54 will be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for INR 18,999 (~US$228). Please see Motorola's website for more details.
