Pixel 8 Pro features and colour variants confirmed by official website
On more than one occasion, Google accidentally leaked details about the Pixel 8 series on its website. This time, a now-deleted page for the upcoming flagship proves the existence of an often-overlooked feature that many would call a gimmick. As predicted by an earlier leak, the Pixel 8 Pro is confirmed to ship with an IR thermometer.
A now-defunct link on Google's website (via @thisistechtoday on X) highlights many key Pixel 8 Pro features. It also highlights the phone's design, 5x telephoto camera, and almost symmetrical bezels. This particular version has a physical SIM card tray, once again quashing rumours about it being e-SIM only in some regions. The Pixel 8 Pro also has a flat screen and a centrally-located hole-punch selfie camera.
Furthermore, the smartphone will be available in three colourways: Licorice, Porcelain, and Sky, as foretold by an earlier leak. At this point, there isn't much left to the imagination because just about every aspect of the Pixel 8 duo, including its price, specs and software features, has all been talked about extensively. Google will unveil the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 on October 4 alongside the Pixel Watch 2.
