Update: Realme does indeed now tout the Buds Air 5 Pro as the TWS earbuds with the "strongest" level (however marginal) of ANC available on the market, as well as all the upgrades as rumored below. The "40-hour" accessories will be available to pre-order in China from May 23, 2023 for just 399 yuan (~US$58).
Original Article: Realme is now believed to launch the Buds Air 5 Pro of an appearance (and case design) nearly identical to that of their predecessors. They are, however, said to pack "excellent" sound quality into their AirPod-clone form-factor, thanks to up-to-date TWS audio features such as ANC.
This spec is said to go up to 50 decibels (dB), thereby outdoing their potential OPPO Enco Free3 rivals on paper (albeit by just 1dB). The Buds Air 5 Pro are also reportedly destined for on-trend LDAC support and "spatial sound effects".
The Buds Air series typically fall into the vibrantly-colored, ~US$60 bracket of the TWS market; however, these apparently next-gen, "Hi-Res" 5 Pros are tipped to pack the co-axial dual-driver technology usually only found in the next "1000-yuan" (~US$140) tier up.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro are now scheduled to launch on May 10, 2023, along with the well-hyped 10-series successors. On that note, the leaker WHYLAB has uploaded a poster to this effect, alongside shots of a press pack thought to hint at the additional camera spec of "lossless" zoom. It may go up to 2x in the 11 Pro, topping out at 4x in the top-end 11 Pro+.
