MWC 2022 | Realme Book Prime and Realme Buds Air 3 launched globally, Book Prime features Core i5-11320H and 3:2 QHD display starting from €999
Realme seemed to have done a pretty good job for a debut laptop launch with the Realme Book (Slim). Now, the company has announced a new entrant to the series with the global launch of the Realme Book Prime at MWC 2022. The Buds Air series also gets a new addition with the new Buds Air 3.
Realme Book Prime
Like the Realme Book (Slim), the Realme Book Prime looks to be aimed more at general productivity than specialized tasks such as gaming or content creation. Realme didn't delve deep into the specifications of the Book Prime but did highlight a few important ones.
The Realme Book Prime's aluminum chassis largely resembles that of the Book (Slim) with a 14.9 mm thickness and a 3:2 2160x1440 Full Vision panel. The main difference appears to be with respect to the CPU and memory. While the Book (Slim) offers Tiger Lake-U options, the Book Prime is powered by a Core i5-11320H cooled by a dual-fan vapor chamber cooling system. There are no indications of a Core i3 or a Core i7 variant yet. There is up to 16 GB of RAM (the Slim offered only up to 8 GB) and 512 GB of NVMe PCIe storage available. The other specifications can be largely expected to match that of the Book (Slim) Core i5.
The Realme Book Prime will be available in Real Blue, Real Grey, and Real Green variants starting from €999 for the Core i5 8 GB+512 GB version and going up to €1,099 for the 16 GB+512 GB SKU. Date of availability is not yet known.
Realme Buds Air 3
Apart from the Book Prime, Realme also announced the Buds Air 3. The new Buds Air 3 comes with active noise cancellation, 10 mm dynamic bass boost drivers, dual noise-cancelling mics, and a 546 mAh battery capacity for up to 30 hours of music playback. The Buds Air 3 also supports Dolby Audio, 88 ms super-low latency for gaming, transparency mode, anti-wind technology, and IPX5 splash resistance.
The Realme Buds Air 3 will be available in Galaxy White and Starry Blue colors for €59.99. Once again, availability date is not known.
