MWC 2022 | Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook: 15.6-inch convertible laptop revealed with low-power processors
Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook at MWC 2022, a 15.6-inch Chromebook with Intel Pentium Silver N6000 and Intel Celeron N4500 processors. According to Lenovo, the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook measures 362.02 x 248.00 x 18.94 mm and weighs at least 1.91 kg. As promotional materials show, the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook has a 360° hinge, allowing you to use it as a laptop, tablet or in tent mode.
Supposedly, the Chromebook will last up to 10 hours on a single charge. Lenovo adds that the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook has 2x 2 W stereo speakers and 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Moreover, the machine will come with 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of eMMC flash storage. Unfortunately, there is no 256 GB option like on the IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook, nor any NVMe SSDs. Also, all configurations have the same 1080p, IPS, 300-nit and touchscreen display. Incidentally, the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook has the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm headphone/microphone jack
- 1x HDMI port
- 1x microSD card reader
- 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C
- 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A
The IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook will launch in May, mirroring the IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook. However, the former will be more expensive than the latter at €449. For context, Lenovo will sell the IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook for €100 less than the IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook. Lenovo has not announced pricing for all IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook configurations, but it has confirmed that the machine will be available in Abyss Blue and Arctic Grey.
