Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaPad Flex 5, one of three Flex 5 series laptops that the company has showcased at MWC 2022. Available in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes, the Flex 5 also comes with a choice of three AMD Ryzen 5000U series processors and several display options.
Specifically, Lenovo has designed the Flex 5 with a Ryzen 3 5300U, Ryzen 5 5500U or a Ryzen 7 5700U, all last generation APUs at this point. Additionally, the convertible laptop will be configurable with up to 16 GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and a 2.5K display if you opt for the 16-inch model. Alternatively, Lenovo has created a 2.2K panel option for the 14-inch edition. All display options have 16:10 aspect ratios for reference and are IPS panels.
Moreover, Lenovo equips both sizes with a single USB 3.2 Type-C connection, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 1.4b port, a 4-in-1 card reader and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. According to Lenovo, the IdeaPad Flex 5 will arrive in Cloud Grey, Storm Grey and Stone Blue colourways. The IdeaPad Flex 5 starts at €549 for the 14-inch model and €699 for the 16-inch edition. Both display sizes will launch in May in the Eurozone and from next month in North America.
