Deal | Lenovo lists the 17.3-inch IdeaPad 3i (Intel) for under US$700

The latest Lenovo IdeaPad 3 has been available in Intel- or AMD-powered 15-inch variants for some time. Now, their 17-inch counterparts have started to join them on their OEM's webstore. They are known as the 3i on the US market, and are also now on sale there.

Lenovo now offers the IdeaPad 3i (Intel) at $655 for one with a 512GB PCIe SSD and 8GB of RAM (half of which can be replaced with a different stick of DDR4-3200 memory for a potential maximum of 12GB). This, then, is a better deal than those on Amazon today (January 1, 2022), a platform on which the 3i starts at $680 for an 8/256GB SKU.

Lenovo also throws the Core i5-1135G7 processor and a matte FHD IPS panel into this deal, although the latter supports 300 nits of brightness at best. This IdeaPad 3i (17ITL6) prospect ships by January 5 when ordered today.
