BW-V7: Compact Full HD projector with display, Android and 850 lumens costs just 200 euros

The BlitzWolf V7 is a new and relatively compact projector that is nevertheless supposed to offer high brightness - and at a particularly low price. In fact, the model is currently available from Banggood at a price of just over 200 euros. What is particularly attractive is that it is shipped from a warehouse in the Czech Republic, which should mean no import duties and particularly fast delivery. There are no shipping costs.

The projector measures 248 x 211 x 167 millimeters and weighs 3.5 kilograms. The native resolution is specified as 1,920 x 1,080 pixels - which is quite a decent value for such an affordable projector. The brightness is said to be 850 ANSI lumens, and the uniformity of the illumination is put at 68 percent.

The projection ratio is 1.35:1, so this is not a short-throw projector. With a distance of between 1.5 and 4.8 meters, the projection size should be between 40 and 200 inches. An autofocus is built in, and keystone correction should also be automatic, which is particularly relevant if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the projection surface. According to the manufacturer, the optics are encapsulated to prevent damage caused by dust, for example.

Android 9 is available, whereby the operating system is installed on an eight-gigabyte internal memory and can use an MT9255 SoC and one gigabyte of RAM. The operating system and WiFi connection in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands allow content from YouTube or Netflix, for example, to be played directly. Two speakers are installed, each with an output of 5 watts, and there are also two HDMI and USB ports.
