Ultimea Apollo P50 1080p projector with built-in speakers launches with discount
The Ultimea Apollo P50 Projector is now on sale, with versions available for the US, EU, UK, Canada and Japan. The model has many similarities to the Apollo P60, launched last year. Both have a native 1080p resolution, with support for HDR10, 4K decoding and a 1,500:1 contrast ratio.
While the P50 has an LED light source like its predecessor, the maximum brightness is slightly lower at 800 ANSI lumens; the P60 has a maximum brightness of 900 ANSI lumens. The new model has a 1.4:1 throw ratio and a maximum recommended image size of 120-in (~305 cm). You can use tools like autofocus, keystone correction and intelligent screen alignment to perfect the picture quickly. The P50 has a built-in pair of 10W speakers supporting Dolby Audio and 1+16GB memory; for comparison, the P60 has 15W speakers and 1+32GB memory. The Netflix-certified device runs on Linux OS, providing access to popular apps like Prime Video and YouTube. Other features include Miracast and DLNA wireless screen mirroring support, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Plus, ports on the device include USB 2.0, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.
You can buy the Ultimea Apollo P50 Projector for the discounted price of $299.99/€298.95/£257.00/CA$438.00. It is unclear when this introductory offer will end and when the new model will return to its RRP of $549.99/€512.95/£442.00/CA$753. While the P50 can only be purchased directly from the company, other models, like the Ultimea Apollo P40, are available via Amazon.
