ECOVACS announces two new GOAT G1 robot lawn mowers
ECOVACS has announced two new robot lawn mowers, the G1-800 and the G1-2000. The models join the G1-1600, which launched in 2023. The numbers in each robot’s name indicate the mowing area each version suits: 800 m² (~8,600 ft²/0.2 acres), 1,600 m (~17,200 ft²/0.4 acres) and 2,000 m² (~21,500 ft²/0.5 acres). It is worth noting that these areas would be covered in 48 hours.
The three GOAT G1 models have many similarities. For example, they all use TrueMapping technology to navigate your lawn with high accuracy and up to 100 m (~330 ft) range. The mowers have two cameras, one for a 360° panoramic view and the other for a fisheye 150° view. Other features include obstacle avoidance, using visual and ToF sensors, a cutting radius of 22 cm (~8.7 in) and the ability to tackle 45% inclines. The device does not require a physical boundary wire, with the ability to set virtual boundaries in the accompanying app and navigation beacon poles to ensure the robot always has a signal. You can also use the ECOVACS app to adjust the mower’s cutting height alongside other settings.
The GOAT G1-1600 and G1-2000 have GPS tracking, and the G1-2000 has all-terrain tires. All models support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with the G1-2000 also having 4G connectivity, free of charge for the first three years. The ECOVACS GOAT G1-800 will be available in white and gray for European customers starting March 6th for €1,090. The range-topping ECOVACS GOAT G1-2000, only available in white, will launch on the same date for €1,999.
