The BlitzWolf BW-FYE17 are now available for preorder for $26 excluding shipping and possible import fees. This is a direct import, so buyers should be more patient and not expect a helpful customer service in case of a defect or return. That said, this rather wallet-friendly price includes a total of four earbuds and a single charging case.
In-ear headphones with 13mm drivers
Two of these wireless headphones are somewhat similar to Apple’s original AirPods, which means they have a semi in-ear design and don’t have to be pushed deeply into the ear canal. This can be more comfortable than regular in-ears for some users. However, the fit during intense physical activities like running might not be as secure. Meanwhile, the second pair has silicone tips and looks more like the Apple AirPods Pro.
Either way, these Blitzwolf earbuds are equipped with relatively large 13mm drivers. They can be connected via Bluetooth 5.4, but high-resolution or lossless codecs such as LDAC are not supported, which is not really surprising considering the very low price point. The same applies to the lack of ANC.
Charging case shows battery level
The charging case has an unusual design. Two earbuds can be removed from the top and the other two from the bottom. There are also two displays that show the current battery level of all four earbuds as well as the remaining charge of the case. With the case, these headphones have a battery life of up to 36 hours, but each pair of earbuds only lasts for 5 hours continuously. Even after that, users can listen to music without notable interruptions by alternating between these two pairs.
