Rumors of a Samsung Galaxy F14 coming to join the pre-existing M14 and A14 on the 2023 Android smartphone market have given rise to speculation that all 3 mid-range devices would share the same build. However, according to a new leak, this is not the case for the "F14", which is now being painted as a slightly bemusing blend of M14 specs and A04 design.

The Galaxy F13 has recently become linked to a successor that might well launch as a straightforward re-brand for the M14 for markets that might include India. However, according to 91Mobiles, the device poised to launch under that product name is not that much like the existing mid-tier smartphone after all.

The blog does assert that the "F14" will offer a 6,000mAh battery, 6GB of RAM and "a 5nm chipset, which could be the Exynos 1330", which are all true of either the M14 or its analog the A14 5G. However, those comparisons are confounded by renders that depict the former as a dual rear camera device.

The A14 and M14 are, of course, triple-shooter devices that vaguely resemble the S23 from the back. Their alleged F-series counterpart, on the other hand, could easily be mistaken for an A04 in these images.

It even has the same color choices, although the 2023 A0x-series release's rear panel has a light-bending effect, whereas this 'F14' seems to be matte, and may also be slightly darker and duller in both finishes.

In addition, 91Mobiles makes no mention of a 90Hz refresh rate for its 6.6-inch display, although this alleged collection of specs now called the Galaxy F14 may still be in line for the Android 13-based One UI Core 5 OS of the A14 4G or 5G.
