Coming to the conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy A04 is the one to go for those looking for a nice display and capable camera with a budget tagline. I found the software experience to be average due to the Helio P35 combo. If only, Samsung had opted for a better SoC here. And I wish it featured a fingerprint scanner. Still, the experience isn’t too bad either. After all, the phone is designed for starters and basic users. Except for the Helio P35, its design, and display, to the battery, is worth the price. Content watching is also pleasing with its warm tones. So, the phone is good to go for those who want a basic experience with light gaming. Samsung Galaxy A04 provides an appreciable camera performance in this budget segment. Its warm-tone display is also good for multimedia usage. But the Helio P35 is kinda outdated and ruins the OneUI experience. By the way, the battery life is great though. Is it a good choice for the sub-15k bracket? Yes, for those seeking a basic smartphone experience!

Samsung Galaxy A04 was announced in August 2022 and caters to the upper mid-range segment. The Galaxy A04 holds a 6.5 inches PLS LCD display panel with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Besides this, the device runs on Android 12 OS with One UI Core 4.1 custom UI. In terms of hardware, you get the 28nm Unisoc SC9863A chipset and IMG8322 GPU. Furthermore, the Galaxy A04 is available in multiple variants with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage. Alongside this, you also get a dedicated microSDXC card slot to extend storage. The phone equips a dual camera with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens. Apart from this, you get a 5MP selfie lens on the front, while you can record 1080p videos at 30 fps from the main camera without any gyro-EIS support. The Galaxy A04 equips a huge Li-Po 5000 mAh battery without any fast charging support.
