Reviews for the Nokia C21

This phone comes at a time when phone manufacturers are being accused of providing botched updates that slow down their phones or bring other issues. But Nokia has built a reputation for providing quality updates on time. The brand name matters to a lot of people. But, considering the price tag, we can’t recommend this phone. The internal specifications of the phone are just too low for a lot of people and there are various other phones that will provide a whole lot of features for the same price. If you are just happy with calling, texting, and a bit of WhatsApp, then this Nokia phone is fine for you. But, just remember, there are better options available at the same price such as the Realme Narzo 50i Prime, which offers far better internals for a slightly higher price. The experience of the Realme C1 will simply blow away the Nokia C21 out of the competition.

The Nokia G21 is an Android One smartphone that provides a stock Android experience, with the promise of guaranteed software updates for the next few years. It offers good build quality and excellent battery life for day to day usage. Given its good qualities, the Nokia G21 should appeal to a casual user who prefers a simple and clean Android interface. Having said that, I'm a little disappointed that the G21 ships with Android 11 and not 12. Power users might find the Nokia G21 to be slightly underpowered. The cameras also fell short of my expectations. If you can overlook its shortcomings, the Nokia G21 is still a dependable smartphone for casual use with good software support, which isn't common in this price range. Those wanting more performance around the same price can consider the Realme 9i (Review) or the Moto G51 (Review). If you are eyeing the 6GB variant of the Nokia G21, you should consider the Redmi Note 10T 5G (Review) instead.

The Nokia C21 is a low-budget smartphone to be released in April 2022, while the expected price of the phone is around $110 (Rs 8,390 in India) approx. Let’s start with the screen that offers a 6.52 inches IPS LCD display panel. Apart from the build quality, the phone weighs roughly 195g. For security, the device offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 28nm – Unisoc SC9863A chipset that provides IMG8322 GPU support. The Nokia C21 smartphone is available in 2GB/3GB RAM with a 32GB/64GB internal storage option. You will also get a dedicated micro SD card slot. Furthermore, the device runs on Android 11 OS Go-edition. The device carries an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera that can record only 720p videos @30fps.
