Samsung Galaxy F14 launch set for late March 2023 in India
Some Samsung fans in India may have been less than impressed with official revelations that the Galaxy F14 will indeed look a lot like the F04 on its launch. Nevertheless, they may be happier with the confirmation that this smartphone may have the edge as the first ever Exynos 1330-powered smartphone in its "segment".
The new 5nm processor will drive a Gorilla Glass 5-covered FHD+ 16.72cm (or 6.6-inch, and, therefore, possibly the same as that of the Galaxy A14 or M14) display, kept on with an extra-large 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast (for Samsung) charging.
The F14 is also now backed to deliver a "Frevolutionary" experience with 13-band 5G and Android 13 in the form of One UI 5.0 (not Core, apparently; hopefully that bit of hype will pan out). That OS will apparently be updated twice over, and receive "4x security" (4 security patch upgrades?) over the smartphone's lifetime.
Besides mentioning the possibility of 12GB RAM, albeit only via software, Samsung is keeping the rest of the Galaxy F14's specs in reserve until its March 24, 2023 debut at 12:00 IST (07:30 CET).
