2024 Redmi G Pro gaming laptop with Intel Core i9-14900HX and Nvidia RTX 4060 officially announced, launches on March 4

Xiaomi's last Redmi G Pro gaming laptop launched at the end of 2022. It packed performance-focused hardware, with the maxed-out variant having the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and Intel Core i9-12900H. After about one and a half years, Xiaomi teased the 2024 successor at the big product launch event held in China a few days ago.

Now, the company has officially announced it, and the gaming laptop finally has a release date. As the official poster revealed, the 2024 Redmi G Pro laptop will be making its debut in China on March 4. The poster has also gone over the key specs, stating that the system will offer 210 watts of performance.

As for the CPU and GPU, the configuration showcased in the announcement poster has the Intel Core i9-14900HX and Nvidia RTX 4060. While the processor is a solid upgrade from the maxed-out variant of the predecessor, the GPU isn't. In our tests, we found the mobile RTX 4060 to be between the laptop RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti.

But we believe that this isn't the only configuration that will be available. The laptop made rounds on Geekbench at the beginning of this year. On this listing, the 2024 Redmi G Pro gaming laptop appeared with Core i5-14500HX and RTX 4060, which will likely be the base configuration. There were reports about a variant coming with the Nvidia RTX 4070 (Asus RTX 4070 OC curr. $529.99 on Amazon) as well.

The good news is that we don't need to wait much, as the laptop is confirmed to debut on March 4, which is only a week away.
