MWC 2024 | Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4 previewed with starting price confirmed before March 2024 release

Lenovo has updated the ThinkBook series with the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4, one of many laptops that it has brought to MWC 2024 in Barcelona. For context, the company has also introduced the ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop, plus various new ThinkPad options. As for ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4, Lenovo claims that it will be available with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2 TB PCIe SSD and Intel Core Ultra processors that support 'Intel Integrated Graphics'.

By contrast, the larger ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 has 'Intel Arc' graphics. Consequently, it seems that the 2-in-1 will feature Core Ultra U series processors like the Core Ultra 7 155U with an Intel Graphics 4-cores iGPU than a more powerful Core Ultra H-series alternative. Additionally, all ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4 configurations will ship with 60 Wh batteries, 2 W stereo Harman speakers and a 16:10 IPS display that delivers 300 nits peak brightness and 100% sRGB colour space coverage. Also, Lenovo mentions and FHD or FHD IR Hybrid webcam with Windows Hello fingerprint and facial recognition, plus a Nano Kensington Lock slot. Moreover, the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4 has the following ports, which are as follows and can be seen in the images below:

• 1x Thunderbolt 4 (DisplayPort 2.1/Power Delivery 3.0)

According to Lenovo's press release, the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4 will go on sale 'starting March 2024' with an 'expected starting price of $1,169'. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not confirmed full pricing or configuration details yet, nor when the 2-in-1 will launch in other markets. The same is true of a few specifications, including the processor options that will be available when the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4 lands next month.
