The new AI-enhanced Latitude range is aimed at making workflow easier for business collaborations and productivity. According to Dell’s official press release, the new computers will be available later this year.

To tackle the challenges of hybrid workplaces, Dell Technologies has unveiled a fresh lineup of computers - the Latitude AI PCs. Much like the name suggests, the new Dell Latitude devices will be powered by the combination of Intel Core Ultra processors with Intel vPro and the integrated multi-processor package.

As per the official announcement by Dell, the manufacturer will be introducing multiple series of AI-enhanced Latitude laptops, which include Latitude 9000, Latitude 7000, Latitude 5000, and Latitude 3000, as well as a detachable laptop.

Getting into specifics, the Latitude 9450, with its compact 14-inch build, claims to be the world’s smallest 14” commercial PC. It is a 2-in-1 device that sports a QHD+ Infinity Edge display. It also has a Zero-Lattice Keyboard with curved keys for better tactile response. Much like the other new laptops, this one also offers AI-based collaboration support for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, along with an HDR-supported front camera. Further, this laptop will support WiFi 7 when it rolls out this year.

Then, there is the Latitude 7000 series that offers 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch laptops as well as two 2-in-1 Ultralight options. The Latitude 7350 and 7450 are the Ultralight models that are equipped with the new Intel Core Ultra processors. Much like the name suggests, these are lightweight laptops, with Latitude 7350 weighing 0.98 kgs and Latitude 7450 weighing 1.05 kgs, respectively. The weight is more or less the same as the Dell Latitude 7440 (curr. $$1,099 on Amazon) released last year, although the AI features are more than welcome.

Dell has also introduced the Latitude 5000 series of laptops, which is the mainstream range and emphasizes sustainable design. The AI-powered models in the series will come in different sizes, including 13-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch, as well as a 13-inch 2-in-1 design. The 5000 laptops will have DDR5 RAM, HDR webcams, and other hardware features.

Further, the Dell Latitude 3000 series will feature affordable commercial laptops. This range will also have the new Intel Core Ultra processors along with optional upgrades like HDR webcams and DDR5 RAM.

Finally, Dell Technologies has given a first look at the Latitude 7350 Detachable, which is a 2-in-1 laptop tablet. Labeled as the “world’s most collaborative commercial detachable,” it is a lightweight device that packs in the power of a laptop. The detachable laptop sports a 3K display, an 8 MP front camera for conferencing, and ComfortView Plus to minimize blue light. Along with this, the laptop also offers AI enhancements with the new NPU - like Windows Studio effects to align eye gaze, blur users’ backgrounds, and more.

The official announcement also mentioned that the Latitude 9000, Latitude 7000, Latitude 5000, and Latitude 3000 will be available this March. Meanwhile, the Latitude 7350 Detachable will be launched sometime in Q2 this year.
