Dell introduced three new XPS laptops at CES 2024: the Dell XPS 13 9340, XPS 14 9440, and XPS 16 9640. Each laptop comes with a thin, light, and sleek design paired with the latest Intel Meteor Lake H-series chips with options for configuring the large-screen models with Nvidia discrete GPUs.
More specifically, the Dell XPS 13 9340, which is the smallest laptop in the range, is available with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, Core Ultra 7 155H, and Core Ultra 7 165H processors. It weighs 2.6 pounds and is just 0.6-inch thick. There’s no option for a discrete GPU, but the Meteor Lake CPUs have a fairly capable Intel Arc iGPU. The starting price is $1,299, but currently, the official US website only has the Ultra 7 155H option available, which starts at $1,399.
Next is the Dell XPS 14 9440 laptop. It’s available with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 7 165H processor options. Unlike the smallest model, this one can be configured with Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, making the system more capable of running games. Its starting price is $1,699, and multiple configuration options are now available on the official website.
The last laptop of the new Dell XPS series is XPS 16 9640. As the highest-end model of the bunch, it can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. The base price is $1,899, and there are multiple configurations available on the official website.
All the new Dell XPS laptops have multiple screen resolution options, can be configured with up to 64 GB of LPDRR5x RAM and 4 TB PCIe 4 SSD, come with a quad-speaker setup, and have Thunderbolt 4 ports. You can learn more about each laptop from the complete spec sheets attached below.
