MSI has now started selling the MPG 321URX QD-OLED, a direct competitor to the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM that ASUS has released in the US and UK. For context, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED is one of several gaming monitors that MSI presented last month during CES 2024. While the company also introduced 27-inch, 34-inch and 49-inch options, only the latter has made it to market until now.
In other words, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED arrives without its stable mates, the MAG 321UPX and MEG 321URX, which all utilise the same underlying Samsung Display Gen 3 QD-OLED panel. Thus, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED measures 31.5-inches across and outputs at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response times. Additionally, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED integrates a modest USB hub with support for 90 W Power Delivery over USB Type-C, among other features.
For now, it appears that MSI has announced pricing across Europe, the UK and the US. Specifically, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED has been listed in these regions for €1,399, £1,299 and $949, respectively. However, MSI has only opened pre-orders in Europe and the UK for the time being.
Instead, MSI US and B&H Photo Video report that the gaming monitor is still 'coming soon'. Either way, the MPG 321URX QD-OLED is significantly cheaper than the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM and Dell Alienware AW3225QF, which retail for $1,299.99 and $1,199.99, respectively. Currently, it seems that MPG 321URX QD-OLED pre-orders will begin shipping in April.
