Acer has started selling the Predator XB273K V3 in Europe. Equipped with a 27-inch IPS panel, the Predator XB273K V3 offers a 4K resolution, a 160 Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 connectivity, among other features.

Acer has introduced a new version of its XB273K gaming monitor. Again marketed under its Predator series, the XB273K V3 features a 4K native resolution (3,840 x 2,160) and a 160 Hz refresh rate like earlier iterations. Additionally, the XB273K V3 still measures 27-inches across, just like the XB273K LV.

Moreover, the XB273K V3 delivers 400 nits peak brightness and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified rather than VESA DisplayHDR 600 in the case of the XB273K LV. On top of that, the IPS gaming monitor boasts 0.5 ms GtG response times, again in another similarity with the XB273K LV. In short, it appears that Acer has re-used the same panel between monitors, despite releasing the XB273K LV almost two years ago.

However, while the XB273K LV features a USB hub and a KVM switch, the XB273K V3 lacks either of these. Instead, the latter only has single 3.5 mm jack, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 connections. Currently, Acer charges €549 for the XB273K V3 in the Eurozone through retailers like Otto. Unfortunately, the company has not shared pricing for other regions yet as far as we can tell.
