If you fancy a few hot races again, you don't have to put any money on the table right now. Both the Epic Games Store and GOG (formerly Good Old Games) are currently giving away a racing game.
Dakar Desert Rally
Dakar Desert Rally is an off-road rally simulation based on the famous Dakar Rally event - one of the toughest off-road racing competitions in the world. The game offers a comprehensive simulation of the extreme conditions and challenges faced by drivers in the real Dakar Rally, including variable weather conditions, difficult terrain and the need to carefully plan your navigation.
Players have the opportunity to choose from a variety of vehicles, including motorcycles, quads, cars and trucks, each with their own strengths and weaknesses to be used strategically in the race. The vehicles can be customized and upgraded to optimize their performance in the various stages of the rally. In addition to a career mode and single races, there is of course also an online multiplayer mode. The rally simulation normally costs 30 euros. Gamers can get the game for free in the Epic Games Store until February 22 at 5 pm.
FlatOut
FlatOut is a racing classic from 2005 known for its intense destruction physics and spectacular crashes. Players can compete in various racing modes, all aimed at literally knocking the competition out of the way while trying to cross the finish line first. FlatOut combines traditional racing with crazy mini-games in which drivers are catapulted out of their cars to achieve various goals. The racing game normally costs around 7 euros. GOG (formerly Good old Games) is giving it away until February 17 at 6 pm.
