Counter-Strike 2 remains Steam's most played game of the week as Palworld drops to third place
Although it's still in the early access stage, Palworld has already managed to surpass everyone's expectations. However, it looks like a lot of work is needed for the final release to go higher. In less than a month, this game managed to attract over 2,100,000 people simultaneously, beating Counter-Strike 2 but still trailing behind PUBG by over 1,100,000 players.
According to Steam Charts, Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 dominated the last 24 hours, with peaks of 1,114,321 and 616,425 players. Palworld only managed to hit 501,365, closely followed by PUBG (487,327) and Apex Legends (442,265). However, by combining its Steam and Xbox players, Palworld enjoys no less than 19 million followers. In terms of Sales, this means over $200 million only on Steam.
Since it is expected to remain in the current stage for roughly a year, Palworld might not generate too many sales in the coming months. However, future updates might change the situation. The list of upcoming features includes guild raids, cross-server Pal trading, as well as PvP modes.
