Palworld beats Counter-Strike 2 and becomes Steam's second most popular game of all time
As the 10% early access launch discount enters its final day, Palworld is already ahead of Counter-Strike 2 in Steam's all-time popularity ranking, which is based on the maximum number of concurrent players in a 24-hour interval. Although it is worth mentioning that Palworld received the second such result, the 24-hour peak values are also quite interesting.
According to the result mentioned above, Palworld is the most played Steam game in this moment, with exactly 939,482 users. Counter-Strike 2 follows in the distance, with 712,550. The podium is completed by DOTA, with 456,973 concurrent players. The followers have less than 200,000 each, with the all-time leader, namely PUBG, currently holding the fifth position, with 162,398 players.
Until the time of writing, Palworld was able to receive 62,810 Steam user reviews. Their result is labeled as "very positive" with no less than 93% of the voters giving the game a positive rating. The list of languages available to play this title in includes English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, German, Russian, French, and a few others.
Since any press, including bad press, is better than no coverage at all, the ongoing scandal concerning the alleged Pokémon plagiarism might help Palworld to reach and beat the massive score of 3,257,248 that keeps PUBG in front of it. We will keep an eye on it and come back with the news as soon as that happens, so stay tuned.
