Palworld is the weekend's most played game and breaks into Steam's all-time top 5

Yesterday, Palworld had 12,738 reviews on Steam, of which 92% were positive. Now, it's at 33,103 and 93% positives. However, the most interesting number is 1,291,967, which shows the impressive popularity of this early access title. Thanks to this massive crowd that played it simultaneously, Palworld is the most played game on Steam of this weekend, ahead of Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and PUBG.

However, things are changing when looking at the all-time most played games ranking. Here, Palworld is breathing down Dota 2 and Lost Ark's necks (1,295,114 and 1,325,305 concurrent players). The first two positions are not that close, as Counter-Strike 2 topped at 1,818,773 players and PUBG has managed to hit an impressive 3,257,248 concurrent gamers at once. In this moment, there are 846,095 Steam users playing Palworld, 599,883 running Counter-Strike 2, and 414,465 in-game Dota 2 players.     

This game allows players to "peacefully live alongside mysterious creatures known as Pals" or go against "a ruthless poaching syndicate" while using Pals to fight or making them work on farms and factories. Although it doesn't offer a top-notch graphics experience, it delivers a steady frame rate even on less powerful computers. The minimum system requirements for Steam users are quite modest: Intel Core i5-3570K, 16 GB memory and 40 GB disk space, and GeForce GTX 1050 with 2 GB VRAM. However, the recommended list of hardware parts consists of the following: Intel Core i9-9900K, 32 GB memory, and GeForce RTX 2070, all alongside the same amount of required disk space.
