The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro made its official debut in China in October 2024, and now, the company is bringing it outside the Chinese market. While it's slightly less capable than the RedMagic Nova and Lenovo Legion Tablet 2025, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 inside makes it good enough for most tasks.
Xiaomi is mainly aiming this new Android tablet towards users who prioritize productivity and entertainment. The company claims that the AI-powered tools of the Pad 7 Pro make it ideal for "efficient work and seamless multitasking." Like the non-Pro variant, it comes with a large 11.2-inch display.
This 3.2K screen sports a 3:2 aspect ratio, adaptive HDR, and 144 Hz refresh rate. There's support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, and with TÜV Rheinland certifications, it's touted to offer a pleasant viewing experience. As for audio, this new Xiaomi tablet features a four-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, and there's support for Hi-Res Wireless audio.
Camera-wise, the Pad 7 Pro didn't see much of an upgrade from its predecessor. The back has a 50 MP primary sensor with a 2 MP depth camera, the same as the Pad 6 Pro. Of course, Xiaomi did upgrade the front camera to a 32 MP selfie shooter from a 20 MP sensor found on the predecessor.
Another notable upgrade is the battery, up from 8,600 mAh to 8,850 mAh on the Pad 7 Pro. The charging speed remains the same, though, at 67 W with support for PD 3.0 (140 W Anker 737 power bank curr. $89.99 on Amazon). Other highlights include up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, WiFi 7, and HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The tablet starts at €499.90 in the EU, while the top-end variant costs €599.90.
