The Pad 7 Ultra and 7S Pro are no more than a couple of months old now, yet might be joined on the Android tablet market by an 8 Pro successor by October 2025, according to the latest rumors.
The Pad-series' next flagship might be a significant upgrade compared to its 7 Pro predecessor in that it might rock the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC rather than its less premium 8s Gen 3 counterpart.
The "8 Pro" might also be the larger of the 2 with a display of up to 12 inches in diagonal length. It might still be LCD, though, rather than OLED as in its potential RedMagic Astra rival (now available at $799.99 on Amazon).
Then again, that might allow the Pad 8 Pro to retain the competitive 144Hz refresh rate spec of the 7S Pro. It might also improve on that tablet's appeal by offering the same 12,000mAh capacity as the Pad 7 Ultra in a new battery.
