While the new Lenovo Legion Y700 (4th Gen) is a bonafide gaming tablet, it appears its performance isn't quite the best on the market, with that honor going to two mainstream tablets—if AnTuTu's latest tablet performance rankings are anything to go by.
These rankings are based on the average of all tests across the month, and highlight the Oppo Pad 4 Pro as the best-performing Android tablet on the market, with a score of 2,851,747. In second place sits the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro—not much of a surprise, as it's effectively the Oppo Pad 4 Pro in a different suit—which scores 2,834,737. Lenovo's Legion Y700 (4th Gen) manages third place on this list, scoring 2,711,243.
Interestingly, the new Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra only manages sixth place on the list, sitting behind two MediaTek Dimensity 9400 series-powered tablets, the iQOO Pad5 Pro and Vivo Pad5 Pro. The tablets below it on the list are all powered by last-gen chipsets, too, indicating that the XRing O1 on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra sits between last-gen and current-gen flagship chipsets.
It's important to remember, however, that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra features a downclocked version of XRing O1, with the standard version of the SoC currently being exclusive to the Xiaomi 15S Pro. That version of the chipset matches the Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 by most accounts.
