Over a year has passed since we reviewed the original Teclast T65 Max (curr. $186 on Amazon). Right on cue, the company has decided to refresh its oversized tablet with a 2025 edition. Apparently, the T65 Max 2025 improves upon its predecessor in a few areas. However, Teclast has retained plenty of the hardware from last year's model, too.
For instance, a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset returns for the T65 Max 2025, as does 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage. Likewise, Teclast continues to install a 10,000 mAh battery within a 7.8 mm thick housing. For some reason, peak charging speeds have dropped from 18 W to 15 W between generations.
Likewise, the T65 Max still features a 12.95-inch IPS display that combines a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. According to Teclast, it has upgraded the tablet to a 90 Hz refresh rate for its 2025 release, although this is erroneously mentioned in its 2024 product listing despite the inclusion of a 60 Hz panel.
At any rate, Teclast has swapped Android 14 for Android 15. As always, it is worth noting that there Teclast makes no guarantees of ever offering future OS upgrades. Teclast has not confirmed how much the T65 Max 2025 costs or when it will be available. More details about the T65 Max 2025 can be found on Teclast's website.
