Much has been said about RedMagic's upcoming compact gaming tablet. The device visited Geekbench recently and performed quite well, and while its actual name was previously unknown, that has now changed with the company revealing that detail as well as images of the tablet.
The new tablet will be branded as the "RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro", and will debut on June 11 in China as the company's first compact tablet, with the claim of it being "a small tablet that can fit in your pocket." RedMagic has also revealed the design of the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro and it looks quite similar to last year's RedMagic Nova gaming tablet, albeit seemingly with slimmer bezels.
RedMagic's Gaming Tablet 3 Pro will launch as a rival to the Lenovo Legion Y700 (4th Gen) that debuted in China last month. Like the Legion Y700, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite—the standard version and not the Leading Version on the RedMagic 10S series. It'll be slightly larger, however, with a 9-inch display versus the Legion Y700's 8.8-inch one, and feature a larger 8,240 mAh battery, compared to the 7,600 mAh unit on the Lenovo tablet.
