The next few months will see the debuts of new small-sized gaming tablets. Lenovo is set to lead the way with the Legion Tab Gen 4, and RedMagic is geared to launch a similar offering, with more details of that device now surfacing.
As shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Nubia RedMagic gaming tablet is slated to launch soon. "Soon" isn't an exaggeration either, with the leaker claiming the tablet will debut in June at the latest. That indicates a late May release is a strong possibility.
The source reveals other key details of the gaming tablet. For one, it'll be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite. It's also tipped to sport a 9-inch OLED screen with a "custom" high-refresh rate. We know from previous leaks, too, that the tablet will feature a 3K 165 Hz display.
In addition to that, the RedMagic gaming tablet is reported to have the largest battery among its peers—the Redmi gaming tablet and Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 4. That could see it feature a battery well over 8000 mAh, although that comes with the consequence of it also being thicker than both of those tablets.
