It is no secret that Xiaomi is not done with the Poco F7 series just yet. Just over a month has passed since the company introduced the Poco F7 Ultra alongside the cheaper Poco F7 Pro (curr. $679 on Amazon). Nonetheless, reports quickly emerged of an even cheaper Poco F7 being in development.
Initially, there were suggestions that the Poco F7 would only receive a release in India. To that end, the device was seen passing through the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) at the start of the month with the model number 25053PC47I. However, more recent rumours indicated that the Poco F7 would be offered globally too, albeit with a 13.9% smaller battery than its Indian and Chinese counterparts.
Now, the existence of that rumoured global variant has been confirmed by Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomi submitted 25053PC47G to the statutory board under the brand name Poco. While the listing does not reveal anything extra, 25053PC47G is evidently the global and Poco version of 25053RT47C, which is the model number for the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.
Currently, it is unclear in how many countries the Poco F7 will be available. The handset should hit all markets with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset though, as well as a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 2,772 x 1,280 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness. Although a battery capacity drop from 7,550 mAh to 6,500 mAh is expected, the Poco F7 should ship globally with 90 W wired charging and a 50 MP primary camera aided by OIS.
