Anker's Soundcore earbuds have earned a reputation for delivering premium quality at affordable prices, and the brand's latest model looks set to continue on that path. This earbud, the Soundcore Liberty 5, appears to have been quietly released, with the company listing it for sale.
Soundcore's naming scheme is a bit of a mess but the Liberty 5 should be a direct successor to the Liberty 4 which launched back in 2022. Like other Liberty models, the Liberty 5 sports a stem design and a flat case style similar to the Liberty 4 Pro's.
Thanks to Soundcore's ANC 3.0 technology, the Liberty 5 is touted as offering twice the voice reduction performance of the Liberty 4 NC (buy on Amazon), a model already lauded for its exceptional noise cancellation. Battery life is excellent as well, with the Liberty 5 said to last a massive 12 hours with ANC off, and 8 hours with ANC on.
The Liberty 5 features six mics in total, for improved call quality. Other features include 9.2 mm drivers, wireless charging, IP55 certification, LDAC support, Dolby Audio, multi-point connection, and Google Fast Pair. The new earbuds are listed in four colorways: Black, White, Blue, and Pink. Global MSRP is expected to be $129.99 but the Soundcore Liberty 5 earbuds are currently available for purchase on Anker's official Aliexpress store at $126.57.
