It can be hard keeping track of Anker's line of chargers considering there's almost a new one every month, some of which have the same max power output and number of ports. Notwithstanding, it has announced a new 45W single port USB-C charger that is dubbed the Anker Safe Charge Pro which it describes as the perfect match for the iPhone 16 series.
The Anker Safe Charge Pro belongs to the Nano series and has the model number A2692. It was already launched in the US back in March but has now been announced in China, and in new and attractive colors. The new charger is pretty light, weighing just 50 grams. It is also compact as it measures 33 x 32 x 36.9 mm and has a foldable plug.
The Safe Charge Pro Nano is a GaN charger that has a single USB-C port with Anker's proprietary PowerIQ technology. The charger has a max output of 45W but also supports 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 3A, and 20V 2.25A, and PPS. Anker says it has a new graphene-based heat dissipation material and a bionic cold vortex cooling system for better heat dissipation. It also has ActiveShield 3.0 temperature control technology.
The Anker Safe Charge Pro Charger comes in gold, white, blue, and black. It has textured sides, and Anker even claims that the R curvature of the charger is the same as that of the iPhone 16. The charger is available to buy from JD.com for CNY 119 (~$16/€14) which is significantly less than the $34.99 it retails for on Amazon.
