Oppo has teased a new charging accessory: the 22.5W Energy Jelly Fast Charging Power Bank 10000. This product will launch in China on May 15th alongside the brand’s new Reno 14 series smartphones.
Posters on social media show that the Oppo 22.5W Energy Jelly Fast Charging Power Bank is turquoise, said to be inspired by the color of sea salt. While the accessory magnetically attaches to the back of your smartphone, it appears that charging only occurs over the integrated USB-C cable. As its name suggests, the power bank delivers a 22.5W output, and it has a 10,000 mAh (9,670 mAh rated) battery capacity.
The battery is expected to recharge via an 18W input, though an estimated charging time has yet to be provided. According to Oppo, the 22.5W Energy Jelly Fast Charging Power Bank is relatively compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport. However, the company has not specified the measurements or weight of this product.
Oppo has also yet to confirm the RRP of the 22.5W Energy Jelly Fast Charging Power Bank 10000 for the Chinese market. It is unlikely that this accessory will launch in other markets, such as North America or Europe. Instead, you could consider the Anker Zolo power bank (10K, 30W) (curr. $29.99 at Amazon). The company has also announced the 45W Super Flash Charging Power Bank, which is expected to launch at the same event in mid-May.
