The Anker Nano Charger (45W) has been launched in the US. This new pocket-sized charging accessory, with model number A2692, was rumored last year. It is a successor to the earlier 713 Charger (Nano II 45W), both featuring GaN technology.
The new Nano Charger has a single PowerIQ 3.0 USB-C port for an up to 45W charging output. According to Anker, thanks to support for Samsung Super Fast Charging, you can use this accessory to charge a Samsung S25 Ultra up to 50% in 20 minutes. ActiveShield 2.0 technology helps to protect against overheating, checking the temperature 35 times per second. Plus, MultiProtect regulates the current and guards against high voltage.
This model is particularly compact, with foldable pins to make it easier to transport. It measures 1.30 × 1.26 × 1.45 inches (~3.3 × 3.2 x 3.7 cm) and weighs 1.83 oz (~52 g). For comparison, the 713 Charger measures 1.49 x 1.38 x 1.62 inches (~3.8 x 3.5 x 4.1 cm) and weighs 2.44 oz (~69.2 g). Earlier rumors suggested that the accessory could be available in a range of colors, including green and purple, but it is currently only offered in black.
You can now buy the Anker Nano Charger (45W) at Amazon US for $34.99, with the price including a 6 ft (~180 cm) USB-C to USB-C cable. That makes it cheaper than the older 713 Charger (Nano II 45W), which does not come with a charging cable, priced at $39.99 (curr. $27.99 at Amazon). It remains to be seen whether or when versions of this product will arrive for other markets.
