Baseus has introduced a new power bank in China, the EnerGeek GR11. One of its main highlights is that it comes with a built-in USB-C cable, which enhances the portability. There are two additional ports; one of them is a USB-C, while the other is a USB-A.
Among the three, the built-in USB-C cable and USB-C port max out at 100 W fast charging. As for the USB-A port, it can offer up to 30 W fast charging when used on its own. This configuration also makes the new Baseus power bank capable of powering up three devices simultaneously.
In such a configuration, each of them will max out at 15 W. Baseus also highlights the compact form factor of the EnerGeek GR11. The company claims that the portable charger is smaller than a soda can. There's a built-in screen as well. It's there to display all the important charging info, such as output wattage, battery percentage, and full charging and estimated discharge time.
Besides being able to charge connected devices quickly, the EnerGeek GR11 can quickly charge the internal batteries. Baseus claims that with a fast charger (Baseus 100 W PD GaN3 curr. $39.99 on Amazon), the power bank can get to 60% in 30 minutes and 100% in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The portable charger is compatible with a broad range of devices as well.
To be specific, it supports most of the major charging protocols, including UFCS, PD 3.0, PPS, QC 3.0, and UFC. Other notable aspects of the EnerGeek GR11 include vehicle-grade internal cells, a triple-cooling system for safe charging, and an easy retractable system for the built-in cable.
The power bank goes for CNY 199 in China, which is around $27. Baseus has yet to disclose global availability and pricing details, but given that most of its products land outside China, the EnerGeek GR11 should make an international debut soon.
