Oppo exec confirms battery capacity and more of new Find X8 Ultra camera powerhouse

Oppo executive Zhou Yibao has revealed new details about the Find X8 Ultra. For context, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to soon surpass the Find X8 Pro in Oppo's product stack, which could eventually be complemented by a smaller Find X8S model too.

Earlier this week, Yibao confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra would support 100 W wired charging, just like its predecessor. However, the Find X8 Ultra will also match the Xiaomi 15 Ultra with 80 W wireless charging support, compared to the measly 15 W that the Galaxy S25 Ultra provides (curr. $1,219.99 on Amazon).

On top of that, Yibao has teased that the Find X8 Ultra will ship with a battery capacity that exceeds 6,000 mAh. In other words, the Find X8 Ultra should have a larger battery than the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China and the Find X8 Pro globally, which feature 6,000 mAh and 5,910 mAh capacities, respectively.

The same executive also teased that the Find X8 Ultra will debut next month in China with a 2K display and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The same handset is said to offer 3x and 6x optical telephoto cameras too, as well as telephoto macro functionality via the latter. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether the Find X8 Ultra will ever launch globally.
