Oppo is getting ready to unveil the Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to go head-to-head against the recently launched Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This upcoming camera flagship is set to debut in China in April, and Zhou Yibao, Find's product manager, has shared a good number of specs through teasers.
For example, Zhou recently confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will feature a flat display. In one of the latest Weibo posts, the company's official has confirmed the charging speeds of the upcoming flagship phone. Per the post, the device will have 100 W wired fast charging support.
In addition, the company official has confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will have 80 W wireless charging support. While the wired charging speed hasn't seen a change, the wireless charging speed is an upgrade from the 50 W wireless charging support for the Find X7 Ultra.
Zhou didn't share anything about the battery capacity of the Find X8 Ultra in the post. However, the Oppo exec mentions that the 100 W fast charging support can get the battery inside from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes (120 W Anker 737 GaNPrime charger curr. $69.99 on Amazon). Of course, Digital Chat Station did share that this new camera flagship phone could feature a 6,000 mAh battery. If this remains true, it would be another noticeable upgrade from the predecessor.
Among the other expected features of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra are a quad-camera Hasselblad setup on the back, an upgraded linear motor for better haptics, and a thickness of under 9 mm. More details could be confirmed in the coming days.
