Oppo exec shows super slim bezels of Find X8S by putting it next to iPhone 16 Pro Max

Oppo is gearing up to release multiple new products in April, and the Find X8S will be among them. It will be launching alongside the Find X8 Ultra, and per reports, it will be a compact phone with a 6.31-inch display, matching the screen size of the Vivo X200 Pro mini.

Speaking of the display, Oppo's Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, has showcased the super slim bezels of the Find X8S. The Oppo executive claims that the upcoming phone sports an advanced in-house display technology. This "chip-level screen packaging" has apparently allowed Oppo to push the limit, achieving a bezel size of "1.xx" mm.

Now, while the exact bezel size wasn't officially revealed, Zhou did showcase how thin the bezels of the Find X8S are when put next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, and Oppo's upcoming flagship appears to have taken the win. The picture shows the Oppo phone having slimmer bezels than Apple's top-end flagship phone, which is pretty impressive.

As for the other expected features of the Find X8S, past leaks suggest that the 6.31-inch display of the phone will reportedly be an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. This upcoming phone is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9400+, which is yet to be announced by MediaTek.

A 5,700 mAh battery will reportedly power the internals of the Oppo Find X8S, and it's said to have support for 50 W magnetic wireless charging and 80 W wired fast charging (100 W Ugreen Nexode GaN charger curr. $39.99 on Amazon). As for the cameras, reports suggest that there will be a 50 MP primary sensor on the back with a 50 MP periscope telephoto and 8 MP ultrawide.

The phone is also expected to sport an Action Button-like hardware button, a slim and light build, and IP68/69 certifications. More details about the Oppo Find X8S could be confirmed throughout the coming days.
