It seems that Oppo is not done with the Find X8 series just yet. So far, the company has released the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro as some of the only Dimensity 9400-powered flagships around. Recently, there have been suggestions that a Find X8 Ultra is in the works, which an Oppo executive has since confirmed is the case.
According to Digital Chat Station, there is at least one other Find X8 model in development. By the sounds of things, the so-called Find X8S will rival the Xiaomi 15 and Galaxy S25 (curr. $719.99 on Amazon) for size, which feature 6.36-inch and 6.2-inch displays, respectively. In comparison, Digital Chat Station reports that the Find X8S will line up with a 6.3-inch display sat within bezels that will be fewer than 1.38 mm in diameter.
The Find X8S is also tipped to weigh around 187 g while coming in at less than 8 mm in thickness. Consequently, Oppo's next compact flagship will be noticeably thicker and heavier than the Galaxy S25, which tips the scales at 162 g with a 7.2 mm case size. The added weight and thickness will allow Oppo to include a 5,700 mAh battery, though. On top of that, Digital Chat Station expects the Find X8S to launch with a periscope telephoto camera, which escapes many compact flagships.
