The launch of the Poco F7 series could be fast approaching. In recent weeks, there have been increasing signs that Xiaomi may unveil new Poco F smartphones before the first anniversary of the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro (curr. $429 on Amazon), which debuted simultaneously last year on May 23 globally.
To that end, the Poco F7 Ultra has just turned up on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomi has certified the device with the sporting the model number 24122RKC7G, which was recently seen on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The model number is also the global version of '24122RKC7C', or the Redmi K80 Pro as it is more commonly known.
Meanwhile, various sources claim to have received confirmation that Xiaomi has scheduled a Poco F7 series global launch event for later this month. Reportedly, this will occur on March 27, which Xiaomi has not confirmed publicly yet. The image below looks the part, although we have not verified its authenticity. If a March 27 launch event does come to pass, we would expect Xiaomi or Poco to begin releasing teasers later this week.
