Oppo is now once again tipped to release a new smartphone with a smaller circular Hasselblad-branded camera hump that will be somewhat familiar to fans of its existing Find X8-series siblings, finished in the same choices of Space Black, Star Gray, Shell Pink or Blue to boot.
The upcoming addition to the flagship line is also backed to have a 120Hz 1.5K LTPO display - although this one is also rumored to have the smallest (and thinnest-bezel) screen of its series thus far, at 6.32 inches in diagonal length.
The Find X8s is still believed to pack full-speed 80W wired and 50W wireless charging and a dedicated camera button into its IP68/69-rated build - even though it will be thinner and lighter than the 6.59-inch X8 at 7.73 millimeters (mm) and 179 grams (g) respectively in its latest leak.
The tip also purports to confirm that the latter will have a 5,700mAh battery: nearly as much as the 5,900mAh X8 Pro, but possibly not enough to beat the 13T, another rumored compact flagship Android smartphone that is also backed to debut in or around April 2025.
Accordingly, this new leak might corroborate rumors that the 13T and Find X8s are in fact very different devices, despite the fact that they both allegedly originate from OnePlus and its parent Oppo respectively.
The Find X8s is also linked to the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, while OnePlus might go with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite platform as the 'normal-sized' 13.
The OnePlus 13: now available at $999.99 with 16GB of RAM on Amazon.
