Oppo has already shown parts of the Find X8 Ultra in a series of teaser images and more or less officially verified spyshots. However, the camera module has always been largely concealed or omitted in those images. On 26 March 2025, a new photo surfaced on Weibo that breaks this pattern. In the screenshot below, a Weibo user can be seen asking whether the photo shows the final Oppo Find X8 Ultra or perhaps a fake.
Prominent source confirms Oppo Find X8 Ultra leak
Ice Universe, a well-known Chinese leaker, confirmed several hours later that the device depicted in the image is indeed the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. Identifying information has been redacted in the high-res image below. Whilst we typically wouldn’t take this as a confirmation, Ice Universe emphasised on Weibo that they have personally seen the Find X8 Ultra and can vouch for the photo's authenticity, confirming it showcases the actual Hasselblad camera.
The camera module might look slightly less spectacular than what earlier leaks suggested. Although the circular module, featuring a Hasselblad logo in the centre, is quite visually appealing, the previously rumoured dual-tone design is nowhere to be found. Of course, it's certainly possible that other colour options with more sophisticated designs will be available. Oppo says the camera flagship, set to launch on 10 April, will deliver exceptionally high colour accuracy thanks to new technologies and drastically enhanced light sensitivity, particularly on the dual periscope telephoto lenses.
