Camera test: Clear winner in a comparison between the OnePlus 13, Oppo Find X8 Pro and Vivo X200 Pro

There are numerous camera comparison videos on the internet, and YouTuber Chris from TechTablets is usually among the first to review and compare the latest hardware. Chris is also at the forefront when it comes to the camera flagships from Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo, some of which have already been launched globally. In his latest video (see below), he compares the different camera hardware of the two Hasselblad cameras in the Oppo Find X8 Pro and OnePlus 13 with the Zeiss camera in the Vivo X200 Pro, although the latter has the advantage of having been on the (Chinese) market a little longer and has thus already received several updates.

This also explains why the Vivo X200 Pro performs best in most scenarios in the almost 8-minute comparison video, at least according to the YouTuber's analysis. The least differences are in the area of video, where the Oppo Find X8 Pro is the only one of the three candidates that does not allow for 8K recordings with the main camera. In the comparison photos, the OnePlus 13 emerges as the winner of the flagship trio in terms of the selfie camera, but in most other cases, such as portrait shots, macro shots and especially zoom photos, the Vivo X200 Pro is the clear winner.

This is particularly evident in one of the 10x zoom shots at night and in low light, where the Zeiss camera flagship clearly outperforms the other two candidates, which is particularly surprising given the significantly lower optical focal length of the Vivo X200 Pro vs. the Oppo Find X8 Pro at 3.7x vs. 6x zoom. Updates may bring even better results for the Hasselblad flagship in the future. Unfortunately, the glaring exception to the rule is the lens flare problem that is very visible in certain situations on the Vivo X200 Pro, although the two Oppo/OnePlus flagships are not entirely spared from this either.
