The Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro are now reportedly success stories in their native China thanks to features such as 80W wired and 50W magnetic wireless charging packed into streamlined, iPhone-style bodies mostly made of glass and flat-edged metallic mid-frames, albeit with signature large, circular Hasselblad-branded camera humps.
Their supposedly upcoming Ultra sibling might have more of the same - except with an even bigger ~6,000mAh battery and potentially exciting rear camera upgrades that might also be augmented with a Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor, according to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station.
The Find X8 Ultra might also have a Satellite Edition with support for China's Tiantong system, allegedly spotted in new official regulatory filings under the model number PKH120. According to Digital Chat Station, the fact that it has been certified now implies that it will be ready to launch once its home country's next Spring Festival wraps up.
The event is set to run from January 28 to February 3 in 2025. That might seem far away right now, yet might still allow the X8 Ultra (and its Satellite Edition) to launch before competitors such as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra.
