Xiaomi 15 series: Over 1 million units of new flagship Android smartphones ship in 2 months
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro have been official in China since the end of October 2024. Now, they are the most numerous Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones in the country, according to Digital Chat Station.
The well-connected leaker claims to have gotten a look at mobile device sales data for the 47th week of the year, and that they show the Xiaomi 15 series now leads the field in terms of new flagship Android smartphones with about 1.3 million "activations".
Digital Chat Station does not mention which of the other new premium handsets were placed at #2 and #3 in those same rankings, but does assert that they have accrued 600,000 to 700,000 and ~250,000 sales respectively to date.
Finally, the tipster notes that Oppo's new, re-designed and MediaTek Dimensity 9400-powered Find X8 series (which can now be ordered in Europe via TradingShenzhen starting at €667) are performing better than even their OEM expected so far.
