Xiaomi will be unveiling the Redmi Note 14 series outside China for the first time in the next few days. For context, the company has only confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G will arrive in India on December 9. However, now the Redmi Note 14 5G can be added to that list courtesy of the Poco M7 Pro 5G.
Officially, Xiaomi has not confirmed that the Poco M7 Pro 5G is a re-branded Redmi Note 14 5G. The specifications that the company has revealed so far suggest as much though, as do recent certification documents. As usual, Xiaomi has decided to share a few promotional images ahead of the device's launch, which we have embedded below. So far, the company has focused on the device's display, whose 6.67-inch surface it has protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
According to Xiaomi, the mid-sized panel relies upon 'GOLED' technology, although we suspect this is a typo of some kind. At any rate, the OLED display will output at FHD+ with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,100 nits peak brightness. Moreover, the panel is HDR10+ certified and has a quoted 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Given that the Poco M7 Pro 5G is not arriving until December 17, we suspect that Xiaomi will post more teasers between now and then.
