Poco M7 Pro 5G: Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G global spin-off seen before global release
One of Xiaomi's next Poco smartphones has taken another step to being released. Specifically, various sources have spotted the Poco M7 Pro 5G passing through the SDPPI in Indonesia with a global model number. Incidentally, it seems as though Xiaomi has the following Poco smartphones in the works, on top of the Poco C75 (curr. $189.99 on Amazon) that debuted globally last week:
As always, the SDDPI has only revealed the device by its model number, which is 2409FPCC4G in this case. With that being said, this model number has already been seen previously associated with the retail name Poco M7 Pro 5G. Moreover, the current consensus is that the Poco M7 Pro 5G will be a spin-off of the Redmi Note 14 5G.
If that is the case, then the device will sport a 1080p and 120 Hz display coupled with a Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset and a 5,110 mAh battery. Furthermore, the Poco M7 Pro 5G should support 45 W wired charging with a 50 MP sensor serving as its primary camera.
Unfortunately, a release date for the Poco M7 Pro 5G remains unknown. However, the fact that Xiaomi is still seeking regulatory approval globally implies that the device could be a way off from its official launch. Please see our Redmi Note 14 5G launch article for more information about what other hardware the Poco M7 Pro 5G should feature.
